A phone call, an estimate, then a locksmith

Four details that save time

  1. Cross streets

    Tucson's grid is big and many subdivisions reuse street names. Give the nearest major cross streets as well as the address.

  2. Gate and HOA access

    Gated communities need a code or a call box number. Have it ready, or tell the guard to expect a locksmith.

  3. The lock

    Deadbolt, knob, smart lock, sliding-door latch, gate lock, padlock, or the vehicle's make and year.

  4. Proof it's yours

    ID with the address, a lease, or a vehicle registration. The locksmith asks before opening anything.
